Local Accommodation

If you’re looking to stay in the area, whether you’re attending one of our bicycle maintenance courses, hiring some of our bikes, taking part in a coaching session or a guided ride, or just simply visiting to explore some of  the beautiful mountains, forests and beaches, then you’ll need somewhere suitable to lay your head at the end of the day.

Here are some of our favourite places that you might like to take a look at:

The Old Vicarage at Corris – If it’s a luxurious bed and breakfast you’re after then look no further. Let Kirsty and Gareth at the Old Vicarage take good care of you in their beautiful house.

Yr Hen Vicardy, Corris

The Granary at Corris – The Granary and Ty Golchi offer lovely self catered accommodation right in the heart of the Dyfi Forest. Anya and Ant have done a fabulous conversion so you’ll feel right at home here.

If you want to stay within walking distance of Wheelism’s workshop then you should take a peek at Glasfryn Cottage. Situated in one of the historic slate miner’s houses at the foot of the mountain you’ll be ideally located to pop to the workshop, head out for a ride on some of the best trails in the area, or explore the quarries. You can even catch the steam train to the sea!

If camping is more your bag then we’d heartily recommend Dyfi Adventure Campsite in Aberangell. Run by Rhys – a keen local mountain biker – there are trails from the Dyfi Forest right to your tent (though they’re pretty steep!)
