Luke joins Team Wheelism!

Wheelism would like to welcome on board Luke Simmonds who will be racing in 2019 in our team colours.

Luke is a longstanding member of the local Dreigiau Coed y Brenin Dragons club, and has been racing for the last few years, competing in both XC and enduro races across Wales. He’s a lovely lad – polite, thoughtful, helpful, always has a smile on his face, and an encouraging attitude towards younger riders. He’s a great example of the friendly, positive vibe in our sport.

It’s been my pleasure to ride with Luke over the last few years, mostly on the Wednesday night youth rides where he’s a regular attender. Cool, calm, and collected, Luke is a great rider, constantly pushing himself to do better whether it’s improving his position when racing or tackling a tricky trials move in his back garden.

Luke has just turned 16 and so will be racing U18 in his Enduro races and junior in XC. I’m sure he’ll do very well in all his races this season and I wish him lots of luck.
