• Sheep can jump.

On today’s commute to/from the shop I arrived at a number of scientific and not-so-scientific conclusions:

    1. Watching David Attenborough’s Frozen Planet isn’t good mental preparation for a frosty morning commute in the Welsh hills – the sweat produced whilst wearing 8 layers of synthetic fibre pushes Goretex’s breathability to its limit.

    2. Cadair Idris looks even more spectacular in the low autumn sun, than it does in the summer.

    3. Sheep can jump cattle grids. Well, that’s not strictly true. What I discovered is that sheep can nearly jump cattle grids.

    4. Black bikes go faster in the dark.  50.9mph down the Bwlch on the way home! I conclude therefore that reflections slow you down. Pure science eh?
